Sunday Morning Knitting

By now you all know that I love getting up fairly early on Sunday mornings to hang out with my hubby and drink coffee while he reads  the newspapers and I knit. On the needles this morning is the (hopefully) final test knit of a pattern that I’ll be sharing with you  within the next few weeks:

Odette

Odette is a fingering weight shawl, knit on US Size 6 needles. I began working on this pattern this past winter when my daughter was rehearsing with her ballet company for their production of Swan Lake.   I’m contemplating whether or not to add an edging to the pattern. I might include one as an option.   I’m tring to keep the pattern to 1 skein of fingering weight yarn so that might influence whether or not there is an edging.   What do you think?

  1. ‘odette’, from the little bit in the picture looks complete with the waves running below the body of the shawl. like the simplicity.
