I love going to my mailbox and finding yarn! Of course, I knew it would be there since I ordered it a few days ago but it’s still fun to walk in the house, open the package and find this:
They’re both Eidos yarn from The Verdant Gryphon. The purple is called Argive Helen and the green is Baba Yaga. Eidos is a sock yarn (100% superwash merino, 4 oz / 420 yds, 8 sts/” on US# 1, 2-ply Fingering weight).
I’d like to knit a cowl with these 2 colors…perhaps Brooklet. Do you have any favorite, fingering weight yarn, cowl patterns? Share here!

Those are GORGEOUS! No favorite cowl pattern but I have to say that I am partial to Pagewood Farms fingering weight. And of course Malabrigo, which is super yummy.
