I’ve finally sat down and written the patterns for my Hartwell Hat and Scarf. Knit with squishy Malabrigos Rios Yarn, this hat and infinity scarf will definitely keep you warm and toasty this frosty winter. The diagonal rib pattern is easy to memorize and both knit up pretty quickly. I love how the purple/blue variegated colorway, Lotus, shows off the pattern!
No need to be frozen this winter…You can find these patterns available for FREE on Ravelry until February 23, 2015 (here and here). Happy Knitting!
Beautiful pattern! Can you tell me why you decided to name your pattern Hartwell?
It was named after Hartwell, GA
I thought so! My Oma and Opa, who just recently passed away, lived in a beautiful house on Lake Hartwell (address is city of Hartwell, also) for 30 years, and the best memories of my life are there 🙂 I loved your pattern anyway, but the name really caught my eye, and the little bit of scenery behind the photo made me wonder if it was the same Hartwell I knew and loved.
Lol, when did you ever get snow down there?! I live up in Illinois now, but I remember how much fun and excitement was generated by even the suggestion of a snowflake 🙂
Thanks for answering my question!
